Man... the amount of hours you do in first year science is probably more that the total hours of a regular commerce degree.

:(
Yeah but more contact hours means less study time (supposedly).

Just makes employment harder to fit in I guess..

We get new shirts - blue ones being mentor leaders. Normal mentors get the sexy bright yellow ones.

And yes, we get to keep them. I think I used mine as a rag for cleaning!

Ahh...I remember when I used to do mentoring. After so many years I just got over it. I didn't even bother picking up my second mentor leader certificate!

Blue shirt p3wns the yellow one.

well my timetable is quite screwed.

for example.

mon

2 hour law lecture at 2pm

also, 2h our mixed music class at 2pm.

thursday

2 hour law lecture at 2pm

also, 1 hour lecture and 1 hour tute at 2pm mixed music class.

on the plus side, because of these clashes im only at uni 2 days a week.

the tutes i wanna get in are all full but i'll pull the old "turn up to them anyway and get into them" trick. that way i have 8 hours total this semester.

You lucky people who already have their freaking timetables! First years do all this timetable crap in person right? *sigh*

atm I have 4 days a week in sem1 (about 23 hours) and 5 days a week in sem 2 (about 25 hours) *cries*

The timetable site (the one with all the subjects and no choices) is there as a preliminary guide for you to work out the times/days.

eStudent i assume is the other thing you're talking about, you log in, and choose one from each category:

Lecture / Tutorial / Practical (if applicable)

For the most part, Lectures are pretty much set, but depending on the fullness of a class, tutorials and practicals can be picked accordingly.
