for someone doing business/it at uts. she's trying to make her timetable but shes not sure how to do it. was wondering she has to do ALL business subjects in first semester, or ALL IT or can she do a mix, like 2 business/2 i.t. subjects in first semester?

also, when we put in a subject in the timetabling thing, we get back a list like this:

Lec101Tue11:00120 minTBATBA24/2-7/4, 28/4-2/6-- Lec102Tue18:00120 minTBATBA24/2-7/4, 28/4-2/6-- Tut101Tue09:0060 minTBATBA24/2-7/4, 28/4-2/6-- Tut102Tue17:0060 minTBATBA24/2-7/4, 28/4-2/6-- Tut103Tue09:0060 minTBATBA24/2-7/4, 28/4-2/6-.... etc

how does she actually choose one or the other lecture/tutorial? also, will she be able to clear all this up in person whenshe goes to her enrolment on the 12th?

Yeah Black Hawker is right. We do the timetable at enrolment, where they give you a sheet with the list of subjects you are advised to take each semester. I was also advised to take even amounts of Business and IT.

I was told to take all Engineering subjects for the first year, and then some Business second year.
Do whatever they suggest. Normally it means you won't run into trouble with pre-reqs.

Specifically for Bus/IT, it is suggested that you do 2 business and 2 IT in each semester.
