ENGL10??- Fiction, Film and Power. When I did it, it was all 1984 and cool. I did really well in it, which is probably why I liked it.
PHIL10??- Whatever it was, it was about God and beauty and art and stuff. Made me think. I also did pretty well in it, I think.

EDUP1002- Learning to be literate, I think it was called. First sem prac subject. Awesome awesome tutor.

I absolutely second and/or third PHIL 1011 Reality, Ethics and Beauty.
Similarly with ANHS 1600 Foundations for Ancient Greece.
Both = FANTASTIC first-year / introductory subjects.

ENGL 1025 was cool when it was 1984, but it went kinda downhill with The Big Sleep and Bliss. :(

I also loved:
- PHIL 2694 The Classical Mind (philosophy of Ancient Greece, awesome!!); also
- EDUF 1019, Human developmental psychology. TOTALLY made up for the total pit that was 1018 (Education, Teachers and Teaching).

For me at least, how much I enjoy a subject = directly proportional to how well I'm doing in it; hence failure in the one half leads directly to failure in the other. :(
