Thoughts on WWI core thus far? (1 Viewer)

What are your thoughts, guys? I know we're only one week in, so what are your first impressions?

Personally I'm finding it very different in comparison to what we did for preliminary. In prelim it was more politically based, now it's more militarily based, which I'm very much disliking. I'm kinda finding it hard to muster the motivation to actually understand the concepts and points completely which is why I'm currently feeling horrible. Oh well, I will have to suck it up if I want a band 6.

Thats interesting, usually people dislike prelim WW1 and prefer the HSC WW1 for this reason.

Oh, really? Hahaha. I thought it was just the people in my class wanting a breath of fresh air. I don't know, probably because I'm more interested in politics My preferences have always been a bit odd in comparison to my class.

+1. I haven't formally started in class (had camp) but I have read over some summaries. It does drone on about concepts which bring disinterest for myself a and a select few of my peers. Most people love discussing military concepts but I, too, love political studies like the ideologies of the time and such.
Prelim, you will be greatly missed in many ways ...

Well, it is WW1. You can't just focus on the political aspect, the military aspect is primal.
