contradicting urself there

You speak the truth. What i meant to say is that everything is being based off of assumptions.

If
50/84 is enough for an E4,

Then
60/84 will definitely be an E4,

Else
It will probably be an E4 if you get 60, but not if you get 50.

Is that a little better? :)

I have a feelings it's going to be very low 50s or high 40s...
come on, think people. they just dont give out E4's for no reason, it will be low to mid 60's, there not going to give people E4s who barely passed, sure i had troubles with question 6 and parts of 7, but the first 60 marks were, in most cases a given, if people aced the first 4 questions thats 48 marks, THINK ABOUT IT, just cos u want an E4 dosent mean the board of studies will give you one. i think i got 67/84, and im hoping i can scrape into and E4, but is thinking E3

you think about it, ive done all past HSC's from 1992-2008... this was one of the harder ones... 2003, 45-52/84=45/50
thats all i need to think, your turn. =P

Just what exactly are you basing this on? A hunch? Instinct? Intuition?

Hey guys. I thought the test was pretty challenging, especially question 6. To be honest though, im thinking a 50-60 mark would give u an E4, which may be a bit high for some but getting an E4 doesnt necessarily grant u a high ATAR, so even if u dont think u'll get an E4 then theres no need to worry. Anywayz, good luck with the rest of ur exams guys (if u have any left)!!

does anyone know what the cut off for an E4 was last year? is there any way that we can get this kind of information or are we just guessing?
