It does involve a lot of work, especially since it's only a 1-unit subject and it doesn't scale as well as say, ext. 1 & 2 maths and english.
Correction: This is one of the highest scaling subjects, but because it is easier to do well in Ext. English or Maths, it may appear so. It must be remembered that the history project is not more important than the exam, as our teacher reminds us daily. If you bomb out in the exam, you're kinda screwed, simple as that. :uhhuh:
I have my Ext. History trial exam tomorrow, and I can't wait. It is good if you have a good teacher, and remember, the course is focused on historiography (the historians) rather than the event. It is a very interesting subject, and you must be truly motivated to keep up with your project. I can tell you that there was a group of us who did not sleep the night/day before the essay was due, as we still hadn't finished
We're still waiting for the results of that essay... lol
I love the subject, and recommend it. We've gone from a class of about 17 down to 14, because people freaked out about the project. I say do it, but only if you're prepared to put in the work. The project is a huge stress, but when it's out of the way, the sun comes out again
This is the truth, as plain and simple as that
