I dont think the look hobboish, unless ppl wear them to functions, church.... etc (i'm talking about the rubber ones. It's too hot to wear closed shoes some times.... so yeah.

I have about 10 pairs of thongs? But my favourite ones are 'Kustom' they are really comfy. I hardly ever wear shoes, only to something important, usually im bear foot, but i wear shoes to uni...

Well 5 but they aren't used for going out

Boots = work
Leather shoes = school
Adidas shoes = wear with shorts
Vibe shoes = wear with pants
Ugg boots = winter

Except for the ugg boots, each cost me at least $80

most aussies refer to the underwear variety as g-strings anyway

Trust me I wear pants in 30 degree days it doesnt effect me, im used to heat, try going through 45 degree days, now thats lovely on a beach in Mediterranean (*drifts off*)

yeh i have like 4 pairs of thongs.. ahh i love uni being able to wear them (compared to going to school with shoes and socks)
driving in thongs can be dangerous.. i never really understood it until one day i was leaving a petrol station (soha was in the car with me) and like the thong on my right foot was kind of caught and i couldnt accelerate.. with a car going straight for me im like arghh crap but yeh i finally got it and sped out.. but it was really close! so yeh drive barefoot rather than with thongs.. dont learn the hard way like me :S

At first driving with thong is weird but once you learn to wear them properly you shouldn't have this problem.
