Damn English department.
Anyways, entire holiday will be made up of beach, maybe a movie, reading Frankenstein, BoS, and doing a NCIS, Criminal Minds, Fringe binge. :)

Wow, that's strange. I thought most schools would have their Prelim Yearlies in the last couple of weeks of Term 3.

I will edit what I said earlier:

I am going to study about 1-2 hours a day during holidays. I think it is not good for me especially to go full out during holidays and get burnt out.

If people are confident that they can do that, that's great. As for me, I need to start from easy start and develop slowly. On top of that, I am determined to put more time into things that are more important to me at this stage...friends, exercise, having fun and other things. HSC is for next term, I reckon.

Yeah that's exactly what I'm thinking. The ONLY reason why I will study in the holidays is for my maths HSC this year - and nothing else. If I didn't have that - I'd be sleeping and going out all day. I also agree that you need to place a greater importance on friends, exercise... I mean these factors will stay with you after the HSC.

My holidays so far consists of getting the flu. After a whole term of perfect attendance, unlike everyone else in my year, I get the flu on the first weekend of the holidays. Ironic.

I've got an Economics assignment to do over the holidays. Oh, joy!
Actually, I shouldn't be complaining. I prefer this as opposed to trying to churn out a half-decent piece of crap 2 days before the yearlies commence.

Anyway, other things I've planned for the holidays:
- Glebe & Bondi markets.
- Newtown.
- Movies.
- A birthday party.
- State library with friends.
- Buying textbooks.
- Reading Frankenstein.
- Buying lots of new stationary.
- Cleaning out my room, in a massive kind of way.
- 1 hour of math each day, mainly reviewing prelim work.
- Previewing most subjects, except math and CaFS.

Aaaaaand, that's all I can think of right now :)

5 weeks is long in terms of how much HSC content you're missing out...
