according to the award its $7.75 an hour if you're under 16
it would probably be less when you start because there is often a trial period where dont get full wages

It would be a good start to state where you work, and if you're casual or part/full time.

On a side note, if you worked as a filler at Coles as a casual you'd be getting $16.xx

lol I remember my first interview was as some law firm receptionist..

When the interviewer told me they'd be paying award wage whilst on probation or something which will be $7.xx per hour I was silently praying they don't hire me.

Pay ? About OVERTIME With Safeway NightFill,

This Week i'll be working 40 Hrs Instead of 38 Hrs, Just Wondering What % Overtime IS , If Its 200/ 250 or 150%, Since i haveN'T worked overtime for at least a yr.

i get something like $12.40 and i'm 18. i heard that kmart pays 16 year olds $12 hahah... plus with kfc, you have to be a trainee for 3 months. it was 6 months when i started.. so in the first 3 months when you start, you will be getting less than $12. if i remember correctly, i only got $6.03 when i started...
you don't want to work there, trust me.. i've been working there since i was 15 for extra spending money and it's just torture. now that i'm realising that i actually need extra money, i am trying to get out of kfc. take my advice and just don't work at any fast food places.

goldmark didnt hire me, some fat old chick instead
and anything in hospitality is shit wages, unless you happen to have a really nice boss who gives money away

That sucks, I got more at McDonalds. (was 17/18 when I worked there)

i'm working at McDonalds now & i'm only getting $7.14 AN HOUR!!!

lol, no I'm 15 turing 16 & when i do turn 16, the pay rise is around a dollar.
