I dunno about you guys but I am very happy we smashed them this first game. Sure i wanna see a competitive match, but being overseas and watching sky sports, their commentators seem to think that we don't deserve to be there and raved all night about how strong the batting line-up was and the total was nowhere near enough (they seemed to neglect the fact that the outfield was slow as shit). Fuck em i say. Not much point having all the players if they don't do shit. Well done boys, you've done us proud, now i just hope we win the next two and hopefully its competitive.

Who else reckons Vaas should be in the world team for shoaib? That guy for me is top 3 in the world. Also im glad diniel did well. He's always good against the aussies

I'd have to say this was entirely Pollock's fault.

Poor captaining of the side.

Terrible decision to turn for the second run, and then not even run hard for it.

Poor bowling performance.

I say that if Pollock doesn't play, ICC World XI wins.

******

Wonderful win by Australia, despite a hopeless batting collapse and one of the worst fielding performances in recent memory.

They are still the world's best team bar none.

Its tough with a bunch of superstars, different cultures and different styles of play. the world 11 didnt seem to support each other when they were batting, a decent partnership was needed. Afridi is a tool, he should of opened with Sehwag theres no use having him bat so low. Once again, go Vettori. His bowling averages are dropping and he'll soon be in the high 20's , wheras he was in the high 30's not too long ago in odi and tests.

Couldn't have put it better myself Funny man.

You Aussie cunts watch as Pollock gels the team together as a cohesive unit.

I dont kno why Watson got the man of the match award over Vettori-he was the pick of the bowlers...unless it always goes to the winning team.

The match sucked as a whole, although Australia did win. The World XI dont really care about this series cause it is the prestige of getting into the world XI that matters, not winning.

But hopefully it gets better

Yeh well Vetoori only becomes a good player in Australia. And seeing as it was the World XI, well we didnt really like him. Well done to him though. i'm with my man Shaun : THE PERFROMANCE WAS APPALING.

LOL, did Captain Pollock also spell two words wrong when he told the world that?

I've already heard excuses from some anti-Australians that the World XI didn't give a shit yesterday. That's a load of crap, and luckily it seems both you and Shaun Pollock know it.
