I'm not sure if I am the only one who has noticed this, but there has been a massive proliferation in the number of threads pertaining to the Middle East. Either supporters of Israel attempting to attack Arab ideas and related issues, or supporters of Arabic nations attacking the USA and Israel.
Sure, this is a News, Current Affairs and Politics forum, but it seems to have progressed to a point where this "middle-east-centric" view of politics, foreign affairs and news seems to have developed.
For instance, although I haven't directly responded to the Ministerial Accountability thread, I would have thought it to be more pertinent to our daily lives and the Australian political economy than repeatedly playing out the antagonisms between the various Semites..
Actually as I speak, the odds are shortening on centrebet that this thread will also descend into an Arab v Israeli debate; currently paying 1.95..
