Well, I know they had a problem with one of the questions on Paper One. The question that said use TWO extracts from the Powerpoint presentation and compare and contrast the representation of journeys. Some markers were saying that kids should be given marks even if they only used one extract. I think that's bullshit... the question had TWO in big capital freaking letters!

BUT, what does 'extract' mean. My teacher says 'extract' means any two features of any dialogue!

Good point. However, the actual question says:

Compare and contrast the representation of journey in any TWO of these texts. In your discussion, comment on the form and features of both texts.

So, really, there's no excuse for not using two.....
