Re: The Official A-League Thread.

hopefully it's a good match

Anyone going to watch it live? I got my ticket :)
i have a wanderers season ticket so i could attend, but the thought of the hsc ensured that i could not purchase more general admission tickets for the people who usually go with me, so unfortunately i will not be attending

I don't think you'd be able to buy any more general admission tickets anyway. The game is sold out.

Great atmosphere, good game. Sydney had the attacking edge in the front third and ADP scored again :) Wanderers had their share of the game but couldn't score. Sfc Ftw! :p

Re: The Official A-League Thread.

so how about that wsw game

Should be good to go on Friday night. I'll be like... studying at uni all day, and then on the way home, just drop by at the stadium.

Would wear my jersey but I'm not sure if the Medium Youth jersey is the same size as the Medium Adult jersey :(

that, and also the thing is sold out pretty much

Re: The Official A-League Thread.

Are the wanderer's good? I watched the Sydney game on Sunday- that was pretty good but then I watched Liverpool vs. Everton later that night and well... the A-League lacks a lot (though we all knew that).

After HSC though I'll probs go to quite a few A-League games :)

Re: The Official A-League Thread.

Yeah, we're good... for the first two thirds of the pitch. Last third... not so great - though last game against Brisbane was like "what is this attacking display and where has this been in the past three weeks".

Of course we're going to lack quality compared to the big leagues, but I take the view that this is my local team - I should support them, plus they don't play half bad anyway. And the atmosphere is AMAZING.

Re: The Official A-League Thread.

Where do the wanderers play and is the stadium normally full? The atmosphere for Sydney was decent but it was at the ANZ stadium so there were about 20,000 people out of 80,000 seats so obviously that impacted the atmosphere. I might come to some Wanderer's games.
