The best uni for a bachelor of business (1 Viewer)

Hey there,

I really need some help! When I finish my HSC I want to a attend university but I have no idea which one? The reason I want to do a bachelor of business is because I want to own my own business. These are the universities I'm looking at, at the moment:
- UTS
- Macquarie
- La trobe
and Catholic uni

Can anyone make any recommendations?

catholic uni is the worest one on that list. i whtink with la trobe you have to pay lots of $$. reputation wise, UTS is the best from the list.

Well out of your poorly constructed list, I would be inclined to pick UTS. But that is only because of your gross oversight of the most superior facilitator of the Business degree in Australia. That being The University of Wollongong!

Macquarie or UTS

Both have equal crediability in the industry. UTS is great as it focus on industry and practical skills. Macquarie I heard is actually quite good aswell (I know they have a kickass postgraduate business faculty)

What kinda business do you want to own?

Commerce is another way of saying business.

Usyd, and UNSW rule commerce.

To run your own business, a BCom in Marketing and Management sounds good....

There are also good books to read as well...

yeah B com and marketing and mangement is the most useful in terms of running ur biz.

uhm... unsw for comm... macq is alryte i guess, but aprt from their b comm(actuary), i dun c the point of goin there, unless u live right next to it...

Well, Macquarie has a monster of a Postgrad Management School! From the list I'd go for UTS or Macq, won't make too much difference.
