Hopefully Harmy has an off-day. If Asraful can give him a pasting, I don't see why Gilly can't today.

Also, anyone know what happened to Matthew Hoggard? He's their best pace bowler by far I thought. Is he injured, or just a Test match specialist?

yeah Hoggard i rate as their best bowler, but he doesn't make their one-day squad. yesterday though in the twenty20 cup played by the county teams he got carted for 65 off his 4 overs, most ever conceded in a 20/20 match. So he's a shitcunt. Harmison = overrated. He has one good day and all of a sudden he's michael holding. The dude got smashed around when he was last in australia and he bowls the same hort length, he will hopefully get smashed today. hayden was unlucky and martyn was stupid. the ball that did punter though was a ripper. With Lee back, 2day's the day.

Thing about Lee is, that he bowls a lot of pies even on a good day. But he's a wicket taking bowler on the flipside. But he could be costly. At least with Symonds back our 5th bowling ooption doesn't look as weak.

Oh and for anyone who hasn't seen, Paul Collingwood's catch
That catch was just crazy, reminded me of jonty rhodes and ponting (in his hey day). Who would've thought Collingwood would come back a couple of days later, hit a hundred and take 6 wickets? Even though I hate to see England win they have some very talented players.

Anyone else planning to pull the graveyard shift and watch all of tonight's game?

Mohammad Ashraful, Bangladesh's hero in Cardiff with a run-a-ball hundred, starred again with an extraordinary 52-ball 94 featuring three sixes and 11 fours. "Every shot he took on, he middled," said an admiring Collingwood. "It was Tendulkar-like."

That's some praise for the lad.

Vaughan doubtful for tonight's game

Australia win by 50 odd runs - parity restored and English media silenced.

Did anyone else find it funny how the Pommie jibes about how old and over the hill the aussie team is just disappears as quickly as it appears?

Anyone know what happened to clarke? I hope people realise that Lee is more effective than Gillespie and Kasper in a ODI.

Yeah, but it is unfair to sack a guy for doing his job, which kaspa was for quite a while.

Lee is unlucky, he got stuck with the MacGill syndrome. They kept winning, so why change it.

Lee is a weapon greatly underused by Australia. He can intimidate bastmen with outrageous pace, plus, throw in the surprise short ball that can knock a pommie's head off.
