I finally found ep 45 & 46 or fma. took me long enough, but they were worth it.

To be fair.. End of Evangelion is as bad as Shinji ever gets. The fact that he gets Misato and Asuka killed just makes it worse. He does have his moments thoughJago said:

The series starts out pretty boring, but the second episode gets good, then it gets even better from there. There are like 5 or 6 events that take place in the 82 episodes, and the final 9 episodes or so are the best... most violent and the most intriging episodes...

Killua is a cool/cute character but Kurapica is my favourite now... originally I thought he was just an Ok character (he does seem like a girl as well) but once they finish their hunter exams... Killua and Gon, and Kurapica learn the nen techniques and Kurapica becomes something like the second main character in the series... he gets a really cool upgrade and becomes colder then during the exams.

No, can't tell you what the ending is about because it's all just too damn complicated 
If you really want to understand Eva you have to either watch it several times or read at least one of the numerous theories. It's a bit like all the debates on what Donnie Darko is about, only much worse. Also I agree with Newbie, Asuka rules all in Evangelion.

...shini rejected the instrumentality project (where you are everyone around you and basically everything is the way you want it to be) so he went back to the world whereas everyone else lost their form and basically died...asuka survived cos she was inside the eva. In the series ending, shinju accepted it and thats why there was that scene where all the people in his life came back to him and said congratuations

that was messed up... but i have to admit.. i thought the fight scenes were really cool.... yet almost disturbing??
You know.. where Asuka takes on all the angels....once they respawned and started to eat her however.... i knew i was in for some real crazy shite...

The real question is, what's so special about Shinji that makes him decide whether instrumentality proceeds for everyone?
Angels are not human. From my knowledge, angels like humans are the children of Lilith (the big white 7 eyed thing in Terminal Dogma that's pinned by the Lance of Longinus most of the seres). It's a very biblical series, so being an atheist most subtler religious references fly right by me.
