What are the best preliminary textbooks for physics in your opinion and why?

Physics in Focus and Jacaranda because It has everything set out nicely, clearly, etc. Jacaranda does go of on tangents sometimes but always very interesting

Jacandra Physics.. mainly because I used this book throughout the year.. but the thing is that I created my notes based on textbook.

just be careful with excel physics as it has errors in it. (or things that contradict HSC course)
