Textbooks -----> Mistakes? (1 Viewer)

Does anyone have a problem with their textbooks with the answers and the amount of mistakes there are? It is really really frustrating struggling on a question only to be told that THEY are wrong... ARGH!! lol soz a lil rant..

yes this totally gives me the shits.

just the other day i spent a whole double trying to figure out this question only to find out that they forgot to put a minus in the answer so i was right the first time. also spelling errors are a problem in my other subnjects textbooks.

hmmm i dont get it. theyre trying to teach us but how can we know if its right if they keep giving us the wrong answers.

i use new century maths or something.
what textbook do you use?

if mistakes were intentional, i think its a deterrent to kids who resort to copying the answers instead of placing real effort

we use a General Mathematics HSC Course, a text book by Jacaranda and we manage to find the odd mistake here and there.

mine is full of mistakes it is very annoying i use a insight general maths

those mistakes are so annoying, i even found a 2 unit question in there.

i use insight general maths too - i've found the odd mistakes and in one question in started talking about angelica but then talked about monica - get ur names right!!!

LOL. yeh just like mistaking the general mathematics textbook for 2unit by putting in 2 unit questions which i found 2 of.
