personally, any more than 1 non-essay text type from the BOS would be rather gay.

I reckon it'll be an interview text type in module A. module b should be an essay and i reckon module C could possibly be a speech.

the Board of Studies were criticised for having all essays last year, so i dont think they will be doing that this year, but my teacher said as this is the last year of these modules that they will be wanting to go out quietly...
i think two essays and one non-essay

The text type will probably be for module a or b...probably either a:
reflection
speech
feature article
interview
personal letter

i think any other one would be really really lame....lol and it wont be a play, that would screw everyone up

We were asked to write Module A as a one sided debate -_- But other than that, articles, interviews and speeches tend to be the popular ones

The speech for module B in the CSSA trial doesn't seem unreasonable for the HSC. Makes a personal response much more easy.

I think we'd just write a very persuasive speech.

I reckon that if only one section is not an essay it would have to be B, because it adds to the personal aspect of the response. However, a lot of the questions that I've seen for Frontline have been varied text types, so I think there is a distinct possibility of having only one essay in the exam.

Based on the feedback we got

weak:
- addressed the text type in a tokenistic manner, interpreting the text type to mean the use of the inclusive "we", a sense of personal voice in the use of personal first person pronoun, or repetition and emphasis as per a more oral delivery of the exposition.
- did not answer question
- did not sustain For OR Against throughout argument
- weak on context/values

Stronger responses:
- Included an implicit/explicit rebuttal of opposing views eg While it may be argued by the negative that ...., however this is not true as ....
- sustained a clear argument through out

So the idea is to write out in the manner you would speak as one speaker in a debate

I agree. I think Module A might be the only essay available, whereas the others will ask you for different text types.
