Teenage girls admit murdering friend

TWO teenage girls have admitted to murdering their 15-year-old friend, who was found in a shallow grave underneath her house in southwest Western Australia.
The 16-year-old girls, who cannot be named, murdered Eliza Jane Davis in the small coal mining town of Collie, 200km south of Perth, last June.
They allegedly strangled her with electrical cable.
The girls today appeared in the Perth Children's Court, where they both pleaded guilty to one count each of wilful murder.
The pair were remanded in custody while psychiatric, psychological and pre-sentence reports are prepared.
They are set to be sentenced in the Perth Children's Court on April 23 and 24.
