yeah, but formally i'm pretty sure you can't use "quote" like u did....insert-username said:You can quote someone, but you can also post a quote from someone's speech. Words can be nouns and verbs at the same time.

I like this one best. So do teachers. Less wordy. Easier to read, easier to write. It also has a much better tone (however this is often dependent on what you're writing - essay, speech, article, etc.)klaw said:can't you just write (author's name here) states, "(quote here)." ?
