Am I the only one enthusiastic enough about their degree, or are there other people out there who actually intend to take some courses over the break?

you're pretty stupid if you're considering voluntary summer school because:

1. they cost $2.5k each to do
2. a lot of them are taught in "intensive" mode, i.e. 13 weeks of material halved into 7 or 8 weeks

i reckon they're much better than a shit job in syd imo.

Jason - Some of the faculties are offering 2 week intensive courses (fulltime of course). But yes i know this can't be done for all the faculties.

I'll speak to the olds, see what the go is.

you're happy to pay 4x the amount to do a course which has been butchered down in terms of content?

some courses i know are exam only. so you are literally paying $2500 to sit a 3-hour exam.

imagine screwing that up lol

I'm doing law summer school this year and I also did it last year. They HECS Summer law courses and they also run alot of unique courses over the break that you wouldn't otherwise be able to do during semester. It's a good deal IMO :)

hand in assessments, as opposed to exams. I thought you would have worked that one out by yourself.
