hey a mate from another uni said if he fails one of his units he can redo it in summer classes

i was just wondering if MQ also does this and if anyone knew for what units

yes they do
not all units are offered only the majors ones like econ110 etc

i remember seeing a whole list of the units on the mq site but cant seem to locate it -__-

That's the summer of 2004/5- you don't know what units will be offered next summer untill they release them later in the year. I want to do one this summer, and my tutor said that it'll be on, but it's not on the website because they didn't offer it last year.

Summer classes are determined by demand- they've never run a psych one, especially not for first year units. Generally they're the more mathsy sorta ones, like STAT170, but not humanities. Some laws are but... thats about it.

...But I guess if enough people fail psych then they'll have one.. I'm sure you'll pass fornie and you wont have to consider them!

They are... like twice the price or something... and you have to pay upfront- no HECS

it depends on demand they want at least 25 students if they dont reach that it will be cancelled, subjects such as econ110 and 111 are more of a guaranteee due to demand
