For med undergraduates and med student wannabes here, what subjects did you do/or are doing now??

I know the only pre-requisite is chemistry, and english standard is advocated but what did you guys do?

Chem is a prereq at Monash, Utas, JCU and Bond. Also for some provisional offers.

English is assumed knowledge at most uni's, however uni's such as UWA, etc will only accept certain levels such as ESL on individual circumstances.

Maths is a prereq at JCU, Utas, Bond, etc. Higher studies of mathematics may make you elibigle for bonus pionts at UQ, U.Adel, etc.

Please check the prereq and requirements to universities that you apply to.

yea i know that, but what other subjects did you do? did any1 do biology? pdhpe? econmics?

Personally did 4U maths, adv english, chem, phys, geography.

To be honest I haven't found that it matters that much what you do in the HSC. Chem does help in places and I suppose that Bio/PDHPE help in other places but 4 or 5 of my closest friends didn't do ANY science subjects in Year 12 and they're doing fine (cos UNSW doesn't have chem as a prerequisite - only recommended or something) - I'm sure there are many more as well.
