Hi, I am Comm student Acct Major started in 2012 Sem 1. Each paragraph is a new semester. Bold is what I have done/ am currently doing. Could you please advise if this is all correct for finishing end of 2015 with a single major in accounting? The TBA's can be any subject choice inside or outside of the ASB. Can you also suggest some high marking subjects to fill these gaps with? I could also do a 2nd major in marketing or tax, do you recommend this or should I do a single major?

Thanks in advance. Handbook for 2012 is here http://www.handbook.unsw.edu.au/undergraduate/programs/2012/3502.html

One more point: the guide says this about the free electives.

Free electives account for up to 42 UOC (7 courses). At least one of these courses must be taken from within the Australian School of Business to ensure you complete 96UOC of Business courses within the BCom. The free electives may be used to complete a second major from within the Australian School of Business or count towards major of 54 UOC in a modern language offered by the Faculty of Arts and Social Science. See requirements for language major.

I'm not sure if that means the electives HAVE to either come from ASB or if not, can only be language subjects. I wanted to do random subjects, like Criminology etc. Is that possible or does it have to be ASB subjects?

Who can I call or meet to discuss this?
