Subject choice D&T, VA & Textiles (1 Viewer)

Hi, I'm in Year 10 at the moment and I have to pick my subjects for YR 11&12.
They gave us our subject lines and athe only things I want to do are English, Maths, D&T, Art, Textiles and Modern History.
Do you think picking D&T, Visual Arts and Textiles together will be way too much work because theyre all practical and involve major design projects?
Do u think it would be dumb for me to pick them all or can it actually be done?
I'd appreciate any suggestions coz im not getting any help at school.

It can be dnoe, the question is whether you want to put the effort into it. Although, 3 major works do have the ability to keep you from focusing on your other subjects. I would suggest choosing them for year 11 and see how well you cope with those subjects, then decide later on.

3 majors is quote alot! I think that like 4u english they are all due about August-September before the exams and if you're doing 3, that's 3 pieces of work due in at about the same time.

I have a friend who's doing Art and DT but she dropped from 3u english down to 2u cuz she thought that it would end up being too much.

I can't talk from experience, but it can be done. Lots of girls that have been through my school did a combination of the three ( however you want to do them) and they managed okay.I think the hardest things from doing Art, D&T and Textiles is the Major works as they are time consuming and involve a lot of work if you want to maximise the marks you get. But it is DO ABLE! If you like the subjects why not do them?
