i need a hand with an intro and some other tidbits for the following question

Discuss the main trends in Australia's trade and financial flows in the past decade. Analyse the relationship between terms of trade, international competitiveness and structural change in the Australian economy.

i did the hsc last year and i always like to put a mixture of definitions and recent trends etc in my intros. For that question i suggest something like,

Due to increased Globalisation all around the world leading to decentralisation of the world's capital and financial markets, Australia's trade and financial flows have definitely increased in the past decade.

And then you can go on to define all the terms and relationship, and i think you should throw in some stats while defining so it doesn't look like ur writing a dictionary of terms.
