Which is better for your grades? Why?

Really depends on the company you keep and whether you yourself are a more efficient student studying in the presence of others without being distracted whilst being motivated by seeing others study.

Pretty much, but the thing about studying with others is you get distracted even more.... so pretty much the dumb ones lose out either way, and the smart ones study alone.

It depends who the person is for me. The most productive study I do is generally with other people - if I have to explain something to someone else, and they get it, then I know I know it for good. If someone can explain something to me, then great, that saves me trying to work it out myself for who knows how long.

The problem is when people just don't have a clue. Save yourself the hassle and study alone then.

Neither, as I do not tend to study. I learn best through experience and being taught, not through self learning.

I think your need to do a combination. Study on your own sometimes, but also try to make time for some study time with others so you can discuss with them. Unfortunately for me I don't really know anyone in my courses so I don't have the option to study with others.

I believe studying with others, as you can test your knowledge with that person/s.

It would depend on who your studying with, and if you would get distracted and so forth.

If you study with a person/s then you will be able to bounce ideas of them and such.
