Hi,

Is anyone else going to the Hist. Ext. study day this Wednesday at Syd. Uni ?
Hopefully should clear-up some stuff in the course, and is a break from work.

nah i'm going to one next saturday at macquarie uni. i didn't know there was one at sydney uni...is it on all histories or just focus on ext?

Its for History extension and is about the writing of history- with speeches from historians like Windschuttle and Newton.

What's the macquarie day about ?

yeah so was the macquarie one. I dont think it has as much to do with extension as the sydney one does, it focuses mainly on the topics for ancient and extensions just one of the lectures available.

hhmm i didnt know that there was a cost to see windschuttle, and guys its not meant to be a study day as such. its a debate. and for anyone who is goign to macq this saturaday, im going as well.

look out for a guy with the jersey "the WONG way" at windschuttle

I missed both of these lectures because I had no idea they were on...any one know if there are others coming up? Im from Newcastle, so maybe someone knows of some around this area, but if its all in Sydney then i dont have a problem with going there either. Either way...any more lectures/study days?
