i currently studying physics by using the jacaranda but i find it extremely hard to understand the concepts and spend around 30-40 min sometimes on a single page. meanwhile i use the excel and found it much more easier to understand and memorise the key points because it is so brief. many of my friends say studying from the jac is the best, so should i keep on studing using it,all completely isolate it so i use the excel only. currently studying form idea to implementation. by method i can benefit most studying for physics.

What exactly is your question ?

If talking about studying what i did was 'briefly' study the jacaranda book then use "Surfing Physics" for questions.

If i come across a question i don't know how to do i refer to the jacaranda book. It is pretty hard to just pick up the jacaranda book and expect to know everything from 1 or 2 reads.

You need to learn it briefly, find some questions on the section you are learning and answer it, if you still don't know then ask your teacher

i think his question is,

-- that's how i interpreted it.

i use excel myself, and for detailed knowledge i use spotlight physics,

i prefer excel because it's concise and doesnt crap on with boring stuff/needless info. it goes straight to the point. the layout is heaps better too, i found.

with jac, if you're finding it difficult, just use excel first, then move onto jacaranda to reinforce any ideas in excel.

if i use both books first the excel then the jac, won;t it take ages to go through. how long do you spend on phys

well, i use both my spotlight and my excel
but i prefer each one, at different times

it doesnt take long to go through, if you know where the relevant sections are.

you dont have to read all of it,
just have a good understanding of the entire concept
or, snippets from both books

but i recommend knowing excel fully,
and then moving to other textbooks to expand on excel.

i dont do much phys work
i usually read in class, etc

but as the trials draw ever closer, and the hsc
ill be cracking down and working pretty hard

planning to do the entire course (all cores+option(s))
before the trials... which means:

10pm to midnight each night, for many nights in a row lol.
same goes for chem, but we'll see how it goes.
