Okay, Im slightly stressed out... I am having troubles with Stat170, i have been doing the Gnats and Wasps, but i have no idea if i am on the right track with the Gnat thats due this weekend,

If anyone loved stats and remembers how to: Find the value of z such that the total area under the normal curve between -z and +z will be 0.3472.......

I would be forever greatful...

Please help as im completely confused and have spend the last few hours trying to figure it out

If your doing stats.... how are you finding it .. i find it to be alot of work....!!!

This may or may not be right:)

If you do 1- 0.3472 = 0.6528 this will give you the total area outside z and -z...

SO then if you 0.6528/2 = 0.3264..

Then look up 0.3264 in your table and it should give you the value of z...maybe:)
