Hello!
Year 11 is finally over, and HSC year is literally a couple of weeks away. For this reason, I was wondering exactly which preliminary topics are tested in year 12, or is everything built up off of preliminary content? If so, which preliminary content should I focus on to achieve high marks in year 12?

i think just flip through textbooks like copeland or rochford, that way you have a little bit of an idea. Most mechanics learnt in yr11 are really just fundamentals in yr12. The main calcuation based tested in yr12 is like truss analysis, velocity ratio, bending moment/shear force, stress strain, lift to drag ratio, etc these are just from the top of my head.

Agreed. There are a lot of mechanics concepts needed to master all the topics, plus the drawing techniques you learn in preliminary study will be super important going forward for the HSC.
