How many words do you think will be needed to produce a 3-4 minute speech?

Is it about 200-300 words?

im doing a 4 minute speech atm, and its 650 words max. thats because ive memorised it fully. for a 5min speech, its usually 800 max. you dont want to go over that or you'll be going to fast. but i guess its different for everyone. why don't you just time yourself and see?

Way more than 200-300 words. Only way to make sure is to actually deliver the speech, whilst timing yourself.
