Hi I am a student in UNSW having a final semester exam tomorrow but due to having a bad cold and upset stomach, I am planning to apply for special consideration. But i had this from wednesday and have already applied for special consideration of my finance exam on that day but using the same medical certificate(which covers days from 15-21) i want to apply for special consideration for my maths exam. do yous reckon I would be accepted????

my internal marks are barely over 50 for calculus and around 70s for algebra

I didn't get any replies yet they said the decision will be made on 5th of July so not sure if i should go to another doctor for my maths or not

I'm pretty sure you can apply for special consideration (which has to be submitted generally within 3 days of the exam). Whether they accept it or not is a different story based on the 'severity of your illness'. I know students whose application got rejected (they had the general cold + an MC) and others who were accepted (individuals with depression/anxiety or the flu). So I think it really depends.
