I was wondering what are the Swiss links in the short story. There is no dialact, apart from the one reference, and it mostly similar to German. Any help would be appreciated.

Ahhhh.. ich denke vielleicht:

"Zum Teufel mit diesen Asylbewerbern! Der kam irgendwo aus Uagadugu, wollte sich in der Schweiz breitmachen...."

because maybee it refers to the stereotype of a swiss person- {not so welcoming to refugees} >??

I actually found the Swiss to be very tolerant of foreigners. I expect, since the Swiss are rather multlicultural anyway, with it being landlocked by three countries, one of which has a high African population, would be all right with outsiders.

I have finished that anyway now, so.... Can't remember what I put though. ^^
