last year was slightly better, but i think ill enjoy it this year because there will be a break between good bands
last year was just wall to wall bullshit amazing bands and it was too hectic

the sideshows will be awesome, especially the in flames one because i think they will have unearth and lamb of god as support

last year's line up was heaps better. this one seems more screamo/metal/hardcore/whatever you call it. but stoked say anything, anberlin, bayside, bloodhound gang, NFG, finch & houston calls got in.

seems to be a fair bit more variety than last year. Dissapointed bout the rumours of jimmy eat world and misery signals not holding up.
but looks pretty damn good.

however if anyone watchs alesana ill severely mock you.

its more the poor organisation of it that drives the crowd to be horrible. if properly organised could possibly be very good.
just dont expect to be able to run and grab a snack or drink on your way from one band to another... pick a time slot when no ones playing and lineup then (although even doing that i missed alexisonfires first song)

apparently the get up kids are reuniting and were supposed to be playing soundwave but pulled out for some reason .. but according to them they're doing a reunion tour for the 10th anniversary of something to write home about (ie one of the best albums in the history of ever). if they don't come to australia i will seriously explode

am considering going to soundwave anyway despite apparent lack of organisation etc

apart from last years atrocious organisation and badly organised food stalls (my vegie burger was stale) it was pretty damn awesome line up wise.

next year is good but not AS good, in my opinion though still hoping to make it =D
if I can get the monies...
