A song about the HSC i found while looking for study notes.. (make sure you sing it to yourself with the right tune of the actual songlol)



At first I was afraid, I was petrified!
Kept thinking I could never pass without revision guides,
But then I spent so many nights, getting all the questions wrong,
And I grew strong,
And I learned how to scrape along,

I won't look back, to any place,
When I can swallow 15 shots and get completely off my face,
I would have spent all day at work, I would have had no spare time free,
If I'd thought for just one second my exams would bother me,
So all my notes, are on the floor,
Don't even matter... that there's no Comedy night anymore...
Weren't you the one who tried to get me to revise?

Oh no, not I!
I won't revise!
Unless I die from alcohol, I know I'll stay alive,
Though my money's at an end,
I've my overdraft to spend,
I won't revise,

It took all the strength I had, not to act the part,
But in the end my real revision didn't even start.
I used to sit at home at night, feeling guilty to myself,
I used to try,
But now hold my head up high,
And you see me! Somebody new!
I'm not that mixed up weird person who wants a good 99.2
So if you feel like dropping in, chances are that I'll be free,
Coz I've done fuck all revision, and I'll fail my HSC,

I won't revise,
I think that I may scrape a third, but I could be telling lies!

The HSC is Getting to me
I can't wait until I'm free
So much to do that it hurts my head,
i do work when I'd rather be in bed.
And when i get to sleep at 1 in the morning,
I'll sit in class all day yawning.
And then there's work for me to do
This is hell that they've put us through.

So I'll cherish all my time off,
Because holidays just aren't enough.

I Hate the HSC so I'll say it through Melody
I try hard to get so far, and I'll get a shit ATAR.
Will you help me if I ask?
Im stuck on this assessment task.
We do things that we all hate, so heres we can all relate.

The HSC is the killing me
It just makes me so angry
How much study does it take for me to remember this when i wake?
The formulae the steps my essay my speech;
99.95 is out of my reach.
I didn't mention I don't do extension
I dont think that I have the span of attention
Because it wouldnt matter how far up I got scaled,
Every exam I did I would have failed

So I'll get cherish more time off
Because Tuesdays just aren't enough.

I hate the HSC so ill say it though poetry
I try hard to get so far and ill probably get a shit ATAR
Will you help if i Pray?
I'll do my work from yesterday
We say things that we dont mean,
But thats okay cos we're all teens.

And the HSC is shitting me
Why is English compulsory?
I feel like a kitten stuck in a tree,
See, i just used a simile
We're all off the rails, and everyone fails,
And im sick of writing Fairytales.
But I'd make a bet that I'd be set if I got off the goddamn net.
And I'd send stuff for Miss to look,
But not right now I'm on Facebook.
And I'd get a 10/10 but I can't get off MSN

So my homework will get done when,
My computer is not on.

I hate the HSC so I'll say it with an MP3
I try hard to get so far and I'll probably get a shit ATAR
Will you help me if i plead?
It's your help that i most need.
We do things that we dont choose,
So why dont you step into our shoes?

And this HSC is stressing me
Why Cant any of my family see?
That I stay up to study all night but
I still can't get an answer right!
And then there's Homework for me to cop
I've got 6 subjects I want to drop
And I try so hard to do these equations,
I'm better off asking an Asian!
And even when im concerntrating i just start procrastinating i should just stop hesitiating and then do some Maths-debating.

So I'll study but nothing sticks
How will i get a band 6?

70,000 others against me
I try so hard to get so far
And ill be proud of my ATAR
Will you help me if i ask?

So we work like Christmas Elves.
But we're only in year 12.

And that's why i hate the HSC

My A-T-A-R is based on rank
And im the only one i have to thank
This has helped me like it should
