Last Thursday, i sent a program variation form to confirm what units I am doing this year. I logged on now and 1 unit each for Autumn and Spring is missing. I need to ask a few questions.

1.) I sent the form to:
UWS Blacktown
Locked Bag 1797
Penrith South DC
NSW 1797.
Is this the correct address?
2.) For those that have sent a program variation form, how long did it take after you lodged the form for all your units to appear on your online account?
3.) I called the student centre in Blacktown today to ask if I can send the form through fax if my units don't appear prior to tute rego and they said no. Why is this and if I have to should I send the form through fax?

Its just that I want things to be done as soon as possible.

Righto, I changed my units on friday and by sunday the unit change had taken place. I faxed my program variation to my student centre, which was hawkesbury. Send the form through the fax as soon as possible - its easier and more reliable than snail mail :p

its heppening alot though, missing units.
my reason was full unit, but blacktown isnt very full.
just go to any student centre to clear tings up, dont have to go to your home campus student centre, all centres use the same computer network anyway.
well, faxing actually is more reliable now, ive changed my stance.

hope all is well.

You can use and contact any student centre that u like. The systems are all linked. I go to parra/pen but blacktown is the closest to me, so i regualry go there if i need to use the student cente and put forms in.

I have another question.

The 2 units i need to add are Introductory Economics (Autumn) and Management Foundations (Spring). On the form, it says to circle whether they're core units or not. Can someone please tell if the units i mentioned are core or non-core units?

If your doing them as electives no. If you aren't ... and they are listed in your course structure, then they are core subjects :)

Well for Autumn, I had a choice of either Macroeconomics or Introductory Economics. I chose IE. Does that mean it is a core or non-core unit?

I'd be guessing by saying its a core ... but not too sure on that one.

if you picked micro, you also have to macro, while IE is just one unit. if you picked IE, you dont do micro or macro and you write IE as a core.
Ask theone123 or someone who is an acct student.

Ok thanks.

I sent my prog. variation form on Thursday and I checked my units today and still 1 unit for each sesssion is missing.

They said allow 5 days for my details to change. I sent it by mail on Thursday. Do they work on weekends?

I don't think that they will do anything during the weekend. Allow 5 working days.
