so kawasaki er6-n and ninja 650r are learner legal as of 23/10/09
new models, most likely restricted
still say you have to be a complete cock to buy one of these, bar the er6.

The er6-n is apparently a pretty good stunting machine

Nice to see some more 'big bike' options coming through for LAMS though

A 675 is not horribly underpowered

125 motorcycles with less power then a cyclist on a downhill, on the other hand, are... their only real purpose is inner city suburban commuting, which they have 'enough' power to do (but in my opinion not all that safely) so anything else is p much a non issue

horribly underpowered for what lol they arent race bikes
they still have better acceleration than the average car
they cant do highway speeds easily but who cares, dont ride them on long highway trips

Really doubt they could take most cars lol

Haven't ridden one so can't comment 100% though

Like I said for inner city shit that's fine, but that's hardly something that involves my bike makes more power atw than your bike, so it is still a largely retarded discussion

Why not? 120kg getting pushed by 15hp or 1200kg getting pushed by 150hp
They accelerate fine up to 50-60 etc then they are shit but thats all you want./
Lol why cant we argue about power figures, of course it isnt important but who cares?

they can, actually
was slightly faster than me til about midway through first
didn't fall too far behind at 60
filtered easier than i did

in all seriousness, i'd consider a 125 if I lived heaps close to the city and the m4 wasn't a huge part of my commute

Yo Az I saw that Gixxer 750 yesterday at UNSW, I fucking jizzed myself quite frankly. I want one and then will die a happy man, doing 200 km/h through the royal national park.

Also fuck I saw some guy riding a CBR125 down george street yesterday, looked like such a gimp. They sound shit too.

Yep that's the one. That yoshi pipe looks awesome. Fuck man 750s are my favourite they are only a few kg heavier than the 600 and have like stacks more power. Prefer them over the thou. Honestly it is my dream bike. If I stopped being a lazy cunt and moved out of home I'd buy one as soon as I got my fulls. Living at home is way too cruisy though

Rad bored so before I shower/work here are the bikes I have on the upgrade list for this week:

09 ZX6R, arguably best 600 of this year

09 675, triple motor + slim, although apparently has v aggressive position

Suzuki GSXR750

Ducati 848, has ability to make all panties in a 5km radius disintegrate

Silly options:

Suzuki B-King, detuned hayabusa engine

Honda SP2

R1/ZX-10/1000rr/S1000R also in the silly category, although the bmw will 90% be out out of reach
