riiight... nevermind the blatantly leftist leanings.

Channel Nine is so blatantly conservative.
agreed.... i HATE watching channel 9 news, and the current affairs shows on channel 9 are so insipid... even Today Tonight seems comparitively harmless

Channel Ten is apparantly an obvious commerical enterprise.
hahaha, agreed, but thats sort of why i like it. i watch "first at 5", its mind-numbing entertainment

on cable.. Fox News, for that unbiased, even coverage and perspective,

oh and SBS world news is good too..

PS: remember when thye found Saddam in that hole? the spin doctors started referring to it as a "spider-hole" so that became the popular term, even though usually such a hole would be called a fox hole.
why wasn't Saddam's hole called a fox hole? to avoid possible link to the Fox news network.

I believe that his hole was named a 'spider-hole' for two reasons;
1.To avoid the military connitation of 'fox-hole', which would imply Saddam-as-soldier.
2.Parasitical imagery. (Although it is blatantly obvious that he was tyrannical even without this media 'touch'.)

Nightline is the only thing on channel 9 i watch. But who are the people who are watching this tabloid loose weight, improve home, discredit community crap?
World News and general SBS is good because it offers heaps more variety.

I began watching Sky News Australia in October - "features news on the hour every hour across Australia and New Zealand". Happened to be channel surfing one day, now when nothing is on TV I may watch it. Runs on Optus cable TV. ABC news and/or late night news I've started watching more recently.

Not so much news, but Media Watch is good. Airs on ABC in Melbourne, resumes Feb of this yr -
Quote: Media Watch is Australia's leading forum for media analysis and comment. David Marr and the team turn a critical eye on the media in general and journalism in particular.

Radio: JJJ news. Whatt!?! It's quality news...hehe.

Newspaper: Sun Herald and SMH. But I've stopped buying any of them.

TV: ABC, SBS, but whatever's on really. I don't like CNN. (But I like CNNNN)! BBC World is a lot better.

"Well ABC, NBC, CBS, Bullshit!
They give us fact or fiction?
I guess an even split.
And each new act of war is tonight's entertainment
We're still the pawn in their game."
