Yeah it is alot. . . our school was the first Government Senior High School in NSW and previously our very big school was filled with yr7-12 before 1992 and then it turned senior which caterd for the outer western Sydney area. . last yer it recieved 1200+ applications!

unfrotunately not. despite having 4 100's (pretty good considering we're not a selective school) our ranking (in that top 20 schools list) went down
yeh, from 6 to 13, thats pretty shit  ;)
Who was the four? I thought there were only three, Zelie, Nikki and an asian girl i dont know....he name will ring a bell

Trinity got slammed, down from 14 over 99 to just 2. We dropped from #31 on the ranking to #72, beat that!

our dux got 99.8, although dus at trinity is awarded before the hsc based on internal results. We got two 99.8's and a 44/45 in the IB (equates to 99.85), then it was me with 98.95 so a bit of a gap there which really wasnt apparent in the trials. Such is the erraticism of the hsc

I know for sure who would have got dux at our school...I'm guessing she would have gotton in the low 99s. I'd be very surprised if she fell anything short of a 98.

cause the school is heaps proud of their great uais. so they tell everyone hoping it will encourage people to go to their school.

comprehensive is a school that is a government, non-selective, and yes, its kinda an official classification of a school

I got 98.55 and don't know of anyone in my year who got higher than that *excuse me while I blow my own horn here* so I guess that makes me dux...(my school uses UAIs to determine who gets it)...next after me was a 97.45 and then a 96.9, followed by some in the 90-95 bracket...this was at a comprehensive school, too, so I don't think we did too badly at all...

Then again, my dad teaches at a nearby comprehensive school and they had three people get UAIs over 99 and then a couple in 95 - 98 and then more in 90 - 95...apparently that's the best they've done in years
