Just wondering what the dux of your school got in the hsc for their uai. Say the school as well if you have found out.

For me, St Pius X College, Chatswood top uai was 99.8.

Not bad but it could be a bit better like 99.95 or somethin.

unfrotunately not. despite having 4 100's (pretty good considering we're not a selective school) our ranking (in that top 20 schools list) went down

our dux and runner up got 99.9.

Our top was 99.4, then a big gap to 97.7.
Last year our top was 98.5, so we did better than that at least.

That top 20 schools thing that you see in the paper doesn't tell you much. It calculates the top schools as the percentage of students who got on the merit list. A better way to display the best schools is the average UAI of the school.

My school 99.9 (I think, two people) then 99.6. A lot people I know got over 90-95 so my school's average UAI would be highish.

Top mark at my school was 98.55, I got 98.5, someone else got 98.2, then next was 94.65 ....

How does everyone know what their schools top mark was?

I know for sure who would have got dux at our school...I'm guessing she would have gotton in the low 99s. I'd be very surprised if she fell anything short of a 98.

ours was 97.6 or .3 or something, a pretty good effprt for our school. next was 95.5, then 94.5 (moi! stoked STILL), the 94.2, and a surprise 93 from a a girl i pegged as mid 80's. yeah, only 5 over 90.
