I started and finished Portal in 3 hours. Valve's worst game that I've played. It really seems like it was rushed and no play testing was done. Their development method contradicts how every other of their single player games are.

Might try Portal 2 later if I get time. Not really that keen though as of yet.

I'm gonna read up and check how rushed it was now.

Who else is excited for the new NFS,
I got really hyped when they said "From the customization of underground, from the world of Carbon and the innovation of Rivals", for me Carbon was the best NFS game and from the first trailer of the new NFS I knew it had a touch of carbon, this new NFS is gonna kill it!

It just goes against what Valve's usual purposes in game play are after. A lot of the game is reliant more so on difficult movement combinations using forward, back, strafe left, strafe right and jump rather than the actual puzzles.

The puzzles were good, but I can imagine that if someone was not experienced with movements then they may find it tough.

Usually Valve's games focus purely on how to do stuff, with checkpoints to make sure you learn things and can progress properly. I feel Portal failed to achieve this either.

NFS The Crew is a very good game which is worth playing. I got it free with my 970 :)

To be fair, Portal was always going to be considered an experimental title, especially with it's low price point on launch.

Loads of people loved it because it was a fresh of breath air, and it deserves the praise.

Not actually a NFS game. Developed and published by completely different companies.

I think I was expecting more due to Half-Life.

It's been all over the place actually in terms of official naming so I'm actually confused now lol.

NFS has been all over the place itself as a series.

Half-Life will always be considered the marquee series that Valve produce, so it's a very high bar to beat.

Yeah, those people are wrong.

The only similarity between the NFS series, and the Crew, is that they are both arcade racers. Aside from that, they have nothing to do with each other.

I finished portal 2 in like 5 or 6 hours or something I think, havent played portal 1 tho. I only did it to win a bet that I could beat my friends score of 16 hours. Think it was one of the best games ive ever played.

Yeah I guess that's true.

Yeah it's pretty terrible. I admit that I didn't realise until you said something. There's a lot of places on the net which still say nfs even though it actually is completely unrelated ...

I might try it out in the summer or something.

I tried out portal 2 ages ago but can't really remember that much of it tbh.

Been mixing things up lately.

Lately, I've played Lego Batman, Assassin's Creed, MTG DotP 2015, and GRID Autosport.

Also started up saves for Dynasty Warriors NEXT and Samurai Warriors 4 for Vita.
