Sitting your HSC not at your school? (1 Viewer)

Is it possible to sit your HSC somewhere away from your marking centre? i've heard it IS possible?

Like, if you live in a rural location, you may sit it in Sydney....


or um....

or would that be a bit tooooo far?

often for rural areas I think they get the students to all sit their exams at one location thats close for all of them

if you are sick on the day (like chicken pox) they can send an examiner to your house, hospital, whatever

u can sit an exam at another school but only on valid reasons---e.g u live an hour away from your school and there is a car accident blocking the road. then u can sit the exam at the local school. u have to notify them and your school (obviously) and u cant just sit the exam there coz u cant be bothered to travel the whole distance to school.

unless its due to an "illness/misadventure" you have to have already sought permission from your marking centre, the other marking centre and the Board of Studies...
