Please help how do you solve these simultaneously

Solve y= 2^x and y= 1+2x-x^2 simultaneously

Is this question part of the harder 2u questions for 3u maths?
The question gives the point of intersection and asks to show that these are points of intersection so I don't know if they just want us to substitute into both equations to check Left and right side are equal or whether they want us to solve it simultaneously

To prove that two lines intersect at a point, the only thing you need to do is show that the point satisfies the equations of both of the lines.

There's no need to solve the equations if the answer is already given to you.

Or you could solve one by solving for the other, (by this method i got -1)
and you could use the given points and sub it in to prove they really do intersect at x= -1 and x=0
