hay guys what's the rule in inequalities for taking reciprocals?

When you reciprocal an inequality, the sign changes. Is that what you are looking for?

as it stands thats FALSE. for example, -2 < 3 but -1/2 is still less than 1/3

you only flip the sign when you can confirm that both sides are of the same sign
