Hey everyone,

I've been having a little bit of trouble trying to decide which one to go to, and I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice based on what they've heard, or maybe on actual experience.

SIBT: http://www.sibt.nsw.edu.au/

Insearch: www.insearch.edu.au/

In a nutshell, i'd prefer doing the Dip. in Communications.

Insearch's course goes for 16 months (Feb 2008 - May 2009) and costs $28,000 (covered by FEE-HELP), whilst SIBT's course goes for 12 months (Feb 2008 - Feb 2009) and costs around $14,000 (also covered by FEE-HELP).

I'd prefer to go to UTS because of the Arts in Communication degree, but there's no gaurentee that you'll get into UTS (even if you're above the Weighted average mark) whilst SIBT gaurentees a place for you in MQ (as long as you get over any course specific requirements).

Any opinions?

Thanks in advance!

Wat about swic/uws college? I have a friend that use to go insearch. He said he rather go swic cause of better teaching. Its alot cheaper than those 2 places and you don't have to go uws, u can go other unis. I cant compare with sibt cause i don't know anyone that been there. if u want to know more about it, u can private message me.:p

from memory uws college have diplomas for about $12,000 under fee help and i am sure u can get a guaranteed offer to uws on completion... http://www.uwscollege.edu.au

or there is tafe as well....but i not sure of costs

it is worth investigating as an option

if u really want to go to another institution, ask them if they will look at the uws college diploma or a tafe course on their application

hope info helps
