Hey, just wondering if we should allocate time to checking work in the exam. E.g. I knock off my Creative Writing in 30 mintues (960 words), should I look to extend it.. or keep the extra time up my sleave? After all I have to address the set questions, and the stress of the whole HSC examinations. Cheers!

If you know you can write a piece in 30 mins and you're happy with your preperation, I wouldn't be looking to leave time for the purpose of checking it. Use that time beforehand to plan it so it incorperates the source or quote or whatever criteria... The markers don't expect it to be perfect, they understand that you're sitting an exam and are going to make some mistakes. They're not going to be picking on you for occasional grammar or spelling mistakes. In saying that though if you have time left go for it.
