I think Kevin Rudd has a point: "If someone like Schapelle Corby can be sentenced to 20 years for having been accused of importing marijuana why is it that someone like Abu Bakar Bashir, ultimately responsible for murdering nearly 100 Australians in Bali could only be sentenced to 30 months and then on top of that have the possibility of that 30 months sentence being reduced even further?"

Abu Bakar Bashir is suspected of links to Jemaah Islamia. It is alot harder to prove he is a member of this group, its not he was carrying around in his bag a members list, pamphlets and his JI car.
