Should I pick my university on social life or opportunity's? (1 Viewer)

I have no idea if this is in the right place but here goes. After receiving multiple offers from universities, I am currently torn between the Macquarie university Civil engineering(honours) and the UTS Civil engineering(honours). With many of my high school friends entering Macquarie I am more often than not thinking of going there while UTS (from word to mouth) seems to be the better of the two with better job opportunities and "prestige".

So, any thoughts on how I could narrow it down?

You will make new friends at uni regardless of who you went to school with. Only you can decide whether you value your high school friends more or your perception of the other uni. I had 2 friends from school go to uni together and end up working together in the same eng firm
